Instructions:

Step 1. Cut the following and put aside

  • Three pieces of 28 gauge wire, 30-inches long each.
  • Two pieces of copper ball chain, 25-inches long each.
  • Two pieces of brass chain, 3-links long each
  • Two pieces of 20 gauge wire, 8-inches long each.
  • One piece of 6-inches long copper chain.

Step 2. Prepare your strands.

  • Strand 1 (W1) = Take your first 30-inch of 26 gauge wire. Clip on one alligator clamp 3 inches from one end of the wire strands and insert assorted seed bead from size 6/0 mix and bead spinner in random order until you have 19 inches length of wire with seed beads. Take one alligator clasp and clip on the last bead.
  • Strand 2 (W2) = Take your second 30-inch of 26 gauge wire. Clip on one alligator clamp 3 inches from one end of the wire strands and insert as follows: a. 2 ½ -inches length of random seed beads b. 1-bead from the bead bucket, 1 ¾ -inch length of random seed beads (repeat until you have a total of 6 beads from the bead bucket) c. 2 ½ -inches length of random seed beads. Take one alligator clasp and clip on the last bead.
  • Strand 3 (W3) = Take your third 30-inch of 26 gauge wire. Clip on one alligator clamp 3 inches from one end of the wire strands and insert as follows: a. 3 ½ -inches length of random seed beads, 1-washer, 1-brown spacer and 1-washer Repeat this sequence until you have completed 3 sets. b. 3 ½ -inches length of random seed beads. Take one alligator clasp and clip on the last bead.

Step 3. Group your strands as follows.

  • (G1) W1 and 1-orange ribbon of 18 inches long
  • (G2) W2 (G3) W3 and 1-brown ribbon of 18 inches long
  • (G4) 1-copper ball chain

Step 4. On a flat table surface: tape down the strands 3 inches down from one end and so arranged by its groups respectively from step 3 (note: alligator clips can be taken out before wire strands are taped down.)

Step 5. Weave groups from step 3 in the following order:

  • a. G2 over G1
  • b. G3 over G4
  • c. G4 over G2
  • d. Repeat step 4 (a-c) until you have used up all of the orange and brown ribbons. Clip on alligator clips temporarily to secure the weave and beads to this point.

Step 6: Take your first 8-inch 20 gauge wire and create a wrapped loop from one end. Make 2. (tip: make the loop big enough for step 7- read on before creating)

Step 7: Remove the tape from the strands on the table surface. Wrap around all six strands securely around one wrapped loop from step 6. Use glue if needed and trim all excess of six strands. Working from the non-looped section of the same 20 gauge wire: insert one large spacer, one washer, one bronze-turquoise spacer and one brown plastic spacer. Create another wrapped loop to seal.

Step 8: Take your first 3-link brass chain and connect to the ending wrapped loop from step 7 with one jump ring.

Step 9: Repeat steps 6-8 on the opposite end of the necklace.

Step 10: Attach one clasp on one chain link end of the necklace with one jump ring.

Step 11: Locate the middle most part of the necklace and wrap around your 6-inch copper chain. Let the beginning and ending chain hanging on the bottom part of the necklace. Take one open jump ring and insert through ending chain link then “Pendant MKP 19535-01” and finally beginning chain link. Close jump ring.

Step 12: Take one charm “clear glass with orange dots”. Attach one end to the necklace with one jump ring on one inch distance from the central wrapped chain. Attach the opposite end to the ring of the “Pendant MKP 19535-01.” Repeat on the opposite side with your second charm “clear glass with orange”.

Step 13: Take one charm “Half Key.” Attach one end to the necklace with one jump ring on one inch distance from the “clear glass with orange dots.” Attach the opposite end to the “clear glass with orange dots.” Repeat on the opposite side with your second charm “Half Key.”

Step 14: Take one washer and attach top end to the necklace with one jump ring right next to the half key mark. Repeat on the opposite side with your second washer.

Step 15: Take one charm “Full Key.” Attach one end to the necklace with one jump ring on 1 ¼ -inch distance from the washer from step 14. Attach the opposite end to the right hand side of the washer (necklace facing you). Repeat on the opposite side with your second charm “Full Key.”

Step 16: Take one charm “gold wheel”, attach one end to the ring of the “Pendant MKP 19535-01.” Attach the opposite end to the horizontal wire end of the “Pendant MKP 19535-01.” Repeat on the opposite side with your second charm “gold wheel”.

Step 17: Take one charm “Copper Ruler Link.” Attach one end on to the bottom end of one half key from step 13. Attach the opposite end to the right hand side of one gold wheel (necklace facing you) from step 16. Repeat on the opposite side with your second charm “Copper Ruler Link.”

Step 18: Take one charm “Colorful drops” and attach on the bottom most part of the “Pendant MKP 19535-01.”

Step 19: Take one charm “#72 pendant” and attach on the top center most part of the “Pendant MKP 19535-01.”

Step 20: Take your second set of copper ball chain and wrap around the woven area of the necklace. Secure ends with fiber wires. The ends of the ball copper chain should be secured before the large washers with design on both ends of the necklace.
