Old dresses, I love old dresses…
I am always trying to tell their story… and for this dress the items in the Industrial Chic collection were perfect. It seemed to me that this dress spoke of trips and memories of a cross country journey adding little treasures found along the way.
Dipping this found dress in beeswax with ICE Resin® stabilized it and gave it the strength it needed to hold the charms and amulets.
Then all the trinkets could be arranged and added to the dress using waxed linen thread to hold them in place.
