Chained Yet Free, a video with Lexi Grenzer
Are you ready to mix it up? Grab 2 pair of flat nose pliers or your jump ring pliers, your stash of Industrial Chic chain and follow along as the Shabby Calavera, Lexi Grenzer, explains how to match chains to your fashionable jewelry.
The chains are packaged rather bunched up, but when you remove them from their cardboard backing, ohh la la!
You can choose from gunmetal grey (yet shiny!), antique copper, antique silver, brass combined with copper, chain combined with ribbons, and beaded chain. Imagine the possibilities!
Susan Lenart Kazmer designed her chain to be easy to work with and chic to wear.
It’s Double Tech Tuesday. Comment on this post AND on Lesley Venable’s favorite tool post on the ICE Queen Zine by midnight Mountain time tonight to be entered to win.
What a great video, Lexi! I love both looks, but especially the one using the sari silk-woven chain!
Lexi – great look on both necklaces – your design using the clasp & opening on the side is brilliant.
Great looking necklace.
Beautiful necklaces – great video!
Neat. Chains and other, non-pendant parts of necklaces are always what intimidate me the most. Great idea for a post. Thanks for sharing. Maybe I can make it to Michaels tonight!
Thank you for the double tech tuesday and the chance to win. I enjoyed your video and the looks you created. This is the first time I have seen these types of chain, very nice.
Love this… and now I wish I’d purchased the tins when I was at the store today!
Thanks for the great ideas and for making this look so easy to do!
Lexi, cool video. Clear instructions and great necklaces.
